Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country music artist and singer. The album Satisfied came out in 2007. She was a part of the Pistol Annies band with Angaleena Lambert and Miranda Lambert. Her second album, Like a Rose (2013) is her follow-up. Ashley Monroe performing with Blake Shelton in the year 2015. she released The Blade. This album earned her acclaim and praise. Ashley Monroe works as the Assistant village manager of Riverside Illinois. With over fifteen years' work experience, she's served in various public positions which included five years in the Iowa City deputy City Manager post. Her current responsibilities as the Assistant Village Manager includes the management of the Community Development and Building Department in coordinating grant applications and working on special projects. Ashley is involved in the day-to-day running of Riverside's services as well as implementing the community's elected officials' goals. Prior roles include the municipal planning, budgeting for communications, the management of personnel and collective bargaining and concentration on climate action initiatives. Ashley's work with National organizations and work with communities of varying populations has given her insight into the differences and similarities between how various public agencies are run. Ashley's lessons concentrate on public leadership and management from the point of view that of an experienced professional. Ashley's focus on adapting to changing circumstances and challenges as well as navigating intergovernmental and community relationships and taking ethical choices will provide a framework for aspiring professionals as well as those working in public organisations.
